Meet Silver Trail's New Principal!

Tyler Harding

🎉 Welcome Mr. Harding: New Principal of Silver Trail Elementary School!

We are excited to announce that Mr. Harding has been selected as the new principal of Silver Trail Elementary School!

Mr. Harding brings a wealth of experience from his years of service in the Caldwell School District, where he began his career in 2010. After teaching for five years, he served as vice principal at Caldwell High School before being appointed principal of Van Buren Elementary for the 2021–22 school year.

Mr. Harding holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design—all from Northwest Nazarene University.

A proud resident of the Kuna School District, he is the father of four children and gives his best to model lifelong learning for them every day. They are the joys of his life. Education is a high priority for Tyler and his family. His wife is an elementary teacher, and his sisters and mom are educators, too. Tyler is passionate about building support systems for teachers and making school a supportive and fun place to learn. As the principal of Silver Trail, he intends to carry on the strong community of learners and continue to build a place where parents are proud to send their children.

Mr. Harding is looking forward to leading the Silver Trail community and partnering with staff, students, and families to support student success.
