Pastries with Parents Tickets for Purchase

This weekend, check your child's backpack for the order form to order tickets for Pastries with Parents on May 7th. Pre-purchase tickets for your family to attend this fun event. Stop by anytime between 7:45-8:45 on May 7th to enjoy homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee, and juice.

Golden Spatula Winners

We recently introduced the Golden Spatula award to encourage positive behaviors in the lunchroom! Each week, our Miner CAST carefully selects the cleanest and kindest class based on their efforts in maintaining a respectful and tidy environment.

REPEAT: Calling All Incoming Kindergartners!

Dear Parents of Incoming Kindergarteners,

We want to let you know that the Kindergarten Open House has been moved from Wednesday, April 16, to Wednesday, May 21. The time remains the same, from 2 to 6 p.m. We look forward to meeting you and your child for a tour of the school on May 21.

Why the change?

Our elementary school attendance zones are being reviewed, and final decisions will be made at the May 13 Kuna School Board meeting.

Although we expect only minor adjustments to the zones, we want to make sure you know which school your child will attend before the Open House.

Parent University: Kindergarten 101

We also invite you to a Parent University event on Monday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Swan Falls High School. This session is designed to help parents learn more about kindergarten and school and answer any questions you may have.

Key Dates:

Monday, April 28 - 6:30 p.m.: Parent University: Kindergarten 101, Swan Falls High School

Wednesday, May 21 - 2 to 6 p.m.: Kindergarten Open House, tour the school with your child

Tuesday, Aug. 19 - 4 to 6 p.m.: Back-to-School Open House, meet teachers, drop off supplies
Thursday, Aug. 21: First day of school!
