In addition, we invite you to join us for an introduction with the STE Administration at 5:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.

Let the Learning Begin!

The first day of school is Thursday, August 21.

All staff will begin greeting students on the playground at 8:30 a.m., and parents are welcome to stay during this time if they wish. There will be a brief morning recess, giving students a chance to ease into the day.

When the 8:50 a.m. bell rings, teachers will walk their classes into the building and accompany students to their classrooms to begin the day.
Parents are welcome to accompany their child onto the playground through Friday, August 22. This brief transition period is designed to help students become familiar with the morning drop-off routine. Staff will be present on the playground to support and guide both students and families as needed.

For the safety of all students, adults will not be permitted past the front office or inside the building unless they are KSD staff or have completed the district’s background check and clearance process. We kindly ask that all families remain outside the building during drop-off. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a secure environment.

Dismissal Information:
Silver Trail Elementary ends the school day at 3:35 p.m. A detailed pickup and drop-off map will be shared with families early next week to help ensure a smooth and safe process.

Please also note that every Wednesday is an early release day, with dismissal at 1:30 p.m.
We appreciate your attention to these important details and your continued support as we prepare for a successful start to the school year!
