Hi Miner Families!

Dear Silver Trail Families,

We have another great week ahead for our Miners! There was so much fun and excitement around the sliming of Mr. Harding this past week, and we’re looking forward to carrying that positive energy into the days ahead with a book fair, conferences, and Lego Club coming our way.

Thank you for your continued support in making Silver Trail such a wonderful place to learn and grow!

With Miner Pride,
Principal Harding

The Book Fair is Here!

Our wonderful librarian, Mrs. See, is hosting the Book Fair from October 6–October 9.

We’d love for you to stop by and check it out when you’re here for conferences. It’s a great way to support our library and encourage a love of reading in our students.

PAC - Parent Advisory Committee

We would love to hear from you! Once a month, on the first Friday at 9:00 a.m., we invite all parents to join a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) feedback session to share thoughts about how our school is doing.
Since there is no school this Friday or next, we will hold September's PAC meeting on Friday, October 17, at 9:00 a.m., here at Silver Trail Elementary.

These meetings are meant to be productive and collaborative, with a focus on:
  • Sharing positive feedback about what you value at Silver Trail Elementary
  • Exploring ways we can improve as a school
  • Learning how communication is going and how it can be strengthened
  • Understanding parent needs and identifying possible accommodations
Your input is invaluable in helping us create the best possible environment for our students. We hope you’ll join us!

"Stay on the TRAIL"

At Silver Trail Elementary, we have schoolwide rules that apply everywhere students go—classroom, bathroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, bus, and beyond. These expectations help create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for everyone.

We remind students to "Stay on the TRAIL" every day during announcements, using our TRAIL expectations:
  • T – Team Player
  • R – Respectful
  • A – Accountable
  • I – Integrity
  • L – Leadership
By following TRAIL expectations, our students are set up for success no matter where they are in our school community and earn TRAIL tickets for the school store when they get caught following the TRAIL.
