Hi Miner Families!

Dear Silver Trail Families,

We had an incredible turnout for Parent-Teacher Conferences, nearly 100% of our families attended! Thank you for taking the time to connect with your child’s teacher and for your continued partnership in supporting learning and growth. Your involvement truly makes a difference.

Here’s what’s coming up at Silver Trail:
  1. Parent Advisory Committee - October 17, 2025 @ 9:00a.m.
  2. New Parking Lot Traffic Pattern - Coming Soon
  3. Veteran's Day Assembly - November 11, 2025
  4. Red Ribbon Week - October

We’re so proud of our students and grateful for our amazing Miner community!

With Miner Pride,
Principal Harding

PAC - Parent Advisory Committee

We would love to hear from you! Once a month, on the first Friday at 9:00 a.m., we invite all parents to join a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) feedback session to share thoughts about how our school is doing.
Since there is no school this Friday or next, we will hold September's PAC meeting on Friday, October 17, at 9:00 a.m., here at Silver Trail Elementary.

These meetings are meant to be productive and collaborative, with a focus on:
  • Sharing positive feedback about what you value at Silver Trail Elementary
  • Exploring ways we can improve as a school
  • Learning how communication is going and how it can be strengthened
  • Understanding parent needs and identifying possible accommodations
Your input is invaluable in helping us create the best possible environment for our students. We hope you’ll join us!

New Parking Lot Traffic Pattern

We want to give you a quick heads-up about an upcoming change to our traffic pattern at Silver Trail!

To help improve safety and flow during drop-off and pick-up, our west parking lot will soon become one-way traffic. The parking spaces on the west side of that lot will be removed down through the corner near the playground, and the curb will be painted red with a merge lane added in its place. These changes are designed to make arrival and dismissal smoother and safer for everyone.

The new paint isn't in place yet (we’re still in the planning phase), but we wanted you to know what’s coming. To help you visualize the new layout, we’ve included a drawing.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we make this improvement

Save the Date - Veteran's Day Assembly

We are excited to share that Silver Trail Elementary will host a Veteran’s Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 9:15 a.m., to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country.

We especially invite veterans in our Miner community to attend in uniform or service garb so that our students can personally recognize and celebrate your service.

This will be a special event for our students and community as we take time to learn about what it means to be a veteran and show our appreciation for their sacrifices.

More details will be shared soon, but for now, please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this meaningful celebration.

"Stay on the TRAIL"

At Silver Trail Elementary, we have schoolwide rules that apply everywhere students go—classroom, bathroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, bus, and beyond. These expectations help create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for everyone.

We remind students to "Stay on the TRAIL" every day during announcements, using our TRAIL expectations:
  • T – Team Player
  • R – Respectful
  • A – Accountable
  • I – Integrity
  • L – Leadership
By following TRAIL expectations, our students are set up for success no matter where they are in our school community and earn TRAIL tickets for the school store when they get caught following the TRAIL.
