Dear Miner Families,

We had a wonderful Kindness Week at school! Thank you for your support in helping students participate in our dress-up days, completing kindness slips, and spreading kindness throughout Kuna. Your partnership helped make the week meaningful and fun for our students.

We were able to display all of our kindness slips in the hallway, creating a powerful visual reminder of the positive impact our students can have on others. Next week, we hope to include photos of each classroom next to their kindness slips in the newsletter. It may look something like the attached picture.

Thank you for helping us grow a culture of kindness in our school & community!

Warm Regards,
Principal Harding

Read Across America Week | March 2-6

Our first week of March is Read Across America Week, and we’re excited to celebrate with schoolwide activities all week long!

Families can help support the fun from home by:

📚 Helping your child choose their favorite book character and dress up as that character on March 4

🔦 Making sure your child brings a book and a flashlight for our reading activity on Friday, March 6

We’ll take care of the rest!

"Stay on the TRAIL"

At Silver Trail Elementary, we have schoolwide rules that apply everywhere students go—classroom, bathroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, bus, and beyond. These expectations help create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for everyone.

We remind students to "Stay on the TRAIL" every day during announcements, using our TRAIL expectations:
  • T – Team Player
  • R – Respectful
  • A – Accountable
  • I – Integrity
  • L – Leadership
By following TRAIL expectations, our students are set up for success no matter where they are in our school community and earn TRAIL tickets for the school store when they get caught following the TRAIL.
