Dear Miner Families,

It’s hard to believe, but we have just 29 days of school remaining in this school year! These final weeks are incredibly important as we continue learning, growing, and finishing strong together. We look forward to celebrating the tremendous growth your child(ren) have made this year at our Family Fun Night on Friday, April 24 from 5:00–8:00 PM here at STE.

We are currently in the midst of ISAT testing for our students in grades 3–5. Thank you for your support in ensuring your child comes to school each day feeling confident, well-rested, and ready to do their best. Your partnership makes a significant difference in helping students feel prepared and successful.

Beginning next week, our K–2 students will also be joining our spring testing window through Amira and iReady. We are excited for them to showcase their growth and celebrate all they have learned this year.

As always, we appreciate your continued support and partnership. Let’s make these last 29 days meaningful and memorable for our students!

Warm Regards,
Principal Harding

Book Fair Luau | April 20 - 24

Please take a moment to check out the flyer for this year’s Book Fair! Mrs. See has put a tremendous amount of time and effort into making this event special for our students and families.

We encourage you to stop by, explore the great selection of books, and support this exciting opportunity. If you see Mrs. See, be sure to thank her for all of her hard work in bringing the Book Fair to life!

Happy reading!

Congrats to Mrs. Cyr (2nd Grade) & Mrs. Royse Classes!

These students were selected to be recognized by their peers for having the cleanest tables in the cafeteria during lunch & modeling TRAIL behavior. Good work, Miners!

Save the Date: April 24 - Family Fun Night

You and the whole family are invited to Silver Trail Elementary on Friday, April 24th from 5-8:00pm for games and activities, food trucks, book fair and silent auctions. See the flyer for more details.

Mother / Son Dodgeball | April 25

Calling all mothers and sons! Join us for a fun-filled evening of dodgeball for grades K–5 on April 25.

This event will be held at Fremont Middle School—come ready to play, laugh, and enjoy time together.

We hope to see you there!

Parking Lot

This is a friendly reminder to avoid parking along the west curb painted in red. Doing this helps maintain safe and efficient traffic flow in our parking lot.

Also, please remember that in order to help us all clear out the parking lot efficiently, we are having families exit the parent pick up parking lot by turning right (only) or crossing Mason Creek into the subdivision morning and afternoon.

Thank you!

After School Opportunity

Every Thursday, Kuna Athletic Club brings movement, skill-building, and fun to our students! It’s a great opportunity to stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy being part of a team. See the flyer for details.

Preschool Opportunity

If you are looking for preschool options, here is a local one to consider.

"Stay on the TRAIL"

At Silver Trail Elementary, we have schoolwide rules that apply everywhere students go—classroom, bathroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, bus, and beyond. These expectations help create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for everyone.

We remind students to "Stay on the TRAIL" every day during announcements, using our TRAIL expectations:
  • T – Team Player
  • R – Respectful
  • A – Accountable
  • I – Integrity
  • L – Leadership
By following TRAIL expectations, our students are set up for success no matter where they are in our school community and earn TRAIL tickets for the school store when they get caught following the TRAIL.
