Hi Miner Families!

Thank you for all of your support in our Jog-A-Thon. Whether you supported financially, helped your child fundraise, support with signs or even dress up like a unicorn on September 25, we are so grateful for our STE community!

Next week, we have conferences and classroom teachers have sent links for Parent-Teacher Conferences. While you are at the school, please check out the Lost & Found that is quickly piling up AND make time to stop by our book fair in the library!

Thank you for being prompt to your time slot as each conference is only be 15 minutes long in order for teachers to get through all families.

Voter Registration Reminder for Families

If you are a first-time voter, have recently moved, or have moved to Idaho from another state, please take a moment to check or update your voter registration status.

You can verify your record or register online through the official VoteIdaho Voter Services Portal or by visiting VoteIdaho.gov.

The next election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026 and no school will be held that day.

Save the Date | Pastries with Parents | October 16

We are excited to bring back Pastries with Parents this year. This event has sold out in the past. We will be preselling tickets to get a cinnamon roll with your child.

We anticipate this event to sell out for and parking to be a challenge.
There will be normal school breakfast available for student purchase. No additional parents/sibling breakfasts will be available for purchase.
We will start our school day promptly at 8:50, so please plan to depart by this time.

Student Drop Off / End of Day Pick Up

Thank you for your patience before and after school and for following signs and staff directions to ensure the safety of all our students. At the end of each day, all Miners will go home in one of these 3 categories: Flagpole Pickup, Bus, or Drive Through.

Flagpole Pickup - students that walk home or have a parent park and collect students.
Bus - students that ride a bus
Drive Through - guardians that pick up their child from the west parking lot car line.

Drop Off/Pick Up Reminders

Safety of your child(ren) is our priority. Please pick up and drop off your child in the designated areas.
Be patient, especially as we start the school year and the pick/up drop off routines are new to many families. We will have staff to support you and others outside.
Give yourself extra time to safely drop off/pick up.
Be patient with other parents/guardians in the drop off/pick up line.
No drop off/pick up in the bus lane.
Do not park in the drop off/pick up lane. If you need to park, use a designated parking spot and thank you for not parking against the red painted curb in the west end of the parking lot,
Drop off may begin no earlier than 8:30 AM because there is no student supervision until then.
Pull forward as far as you can. Discuss with your child(ren) the type of car (color, make, model) you will be in at pick up.
Use designated cross walks to access the parking lot or sidewalks.
Call the office by 2:00pm if there will be a change in the way your child will normally go home so the teacher can be made aware. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) Notify the office of changes by 12:00 PM on Wednesdays.
